OK, I just attempted to listen to the KCPW recording of last nights forum. I'm having a very difficult time getting through Rockys self righteous, misguided, blathering. Please make it stop.

Is rocky upset about something. Oh...yeah..the LDS Church screwed him and told him not to expect any tax revenue from the new malls for 2-4 yrs.
Doesn't an organization actually need to turn a PROFIT before it is actually required to pay taxes? If the Church is building this new Mall with the attempt of trying to resurrect the debacle that Rocky caused by building The Gateway instead of turning Main Street into an outdoor mall, then I am all for them trying to re-coupe their costs of building the Mall and not paying taxes until they make a profit. It’s kind of the way business works, period. If you don't make a profit then you don't pay taxes. The Church didn't say that it wasn't interested in ever paying taxes, it just doesn't foresee paying them until they can actually turn a profit, which will probably be 2-4 years after the Mall opens.
Julie Rose did an awesome job. She is as talented as she is hot.
