They are asking for your email address to prevent more than one vote per person.
What is to stop a person from listing other email addresses-not their own? Do they verify the email address before accepting the vote?
I'm thinking in addition to the 'freeping' that's happening we could see some ballot stuffing. Not that there's anything wrong with that! (says the guy that is known for breaking polls-think Clipper) :)
nothing stops you from voting several times with several different emails; however, realize that each email is signed up for Boxer's databases.
However, feel free to do that.

What? You don't believe the ballot is getting stuffed? You don't believe that Ashdown going to win? I've told you what is going to happing and it's happening right before our eyes. I sent an email, by the way, to the PAC recommending that they send an email blast out asking for confirmation of a vote from those who voted. Any responses the PAC gets back should be a legitimate vote. No harm in doing that, but will they do it? Maybe it's better for them to pretend that the poll works fine? Ignore the weakness and it will go away. I have no problem with that-It's not my poll. It's fun to watch, though.
So, relax. I'm not looking for those who will remain anonymous to think I'm credible. I'm just enjoying the show!
